patient care / conditions treatments / cataract

When your vision feels cloudy – in either one eye or both – you may be diagnosed with a cataract. This condition can mean you have poor night vision, and your ability to read and sew is impaired. Cataracts usually take a long time to develop so you may not notice that your vision is being impaired. As the cloudiness increases it may be necessary for you to have surgery. Thanks to modern technology, though, cataract surgery today is safe and effective.
